Bobby Wakeland started his real estate career in 2015, and worked in the construction industry previously – in heavy equipment sales for Caterpillar and as a general contractor. He was drawn to become a real estate broker by the freedom and challenges in running his own business, and enjoys helping clients during the critical times when the pressure is on. From understanding how to construct a house to selling them, makes it a full-circle industry for Bobby.
Having worked as a builder previously, Bobby is able to spot and explain potential issues with a home before they put it on the market, which can save time and money. To market homes, he engages in each transaction and partners with a group of photographers and lifestyle branding firms to ensure clients get the best photos and vision for their home. He is also skilled in reading people, building trust and negotiating hard for clients when necessary.
Bobby works out of John L. Scott’s Skagit office. His main focus is homes priced $600,000 and up in Anacortes, Bow, Edison, Bay View, Samish Island and La Conner. He helps many business owners buy and sell in the area, and enjoys being able to understand their lifestyle and match them to the right home.
You can find Bobby doing just about anything outdoors in his spare time, including camping and fishing. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and working on all sorts of carpentry projects. He has two children and serves as a coach for their tee ball and soccer teams. He also assists weekly with their Pony Club.
